Expensive mistake – really disappointed with this book, there is only one pattern that I would consider making and that is the smocked dress (for which you could get easily get a similar pattern for elsewhere) . I can absolutely appreciate the amazing skill and time that has gone into the projects but they are nothing like the heirloom garments I was expecting from the description of the book, they are not attractive to look at and in the photographs do not look well finished or well fitting on the models – wish I hard bought a hard copy so I could return it.
