Baby Chicks & Bows Collection by Kathy Drew

Designed by Kathy Drew, these sweet baby chicks and bows machine embroidery designs are featured in the Spring 2023 issue of Classic Sewing magazine on a springtime sister duo designed by Cheryl Clapp. Select designs used in those garments are available as a download with the magazine.

The full set of 31 designs includes sweet baby chicks, beautiful bows, and single-color quilting designs. Some designs feature in-the-hoop machine shadow embroidery. Kathy has included embroidered insertion designs, which are multiple motifs placed together to create insertions, which will save you the time and the stress of placement and multiple hoopings. Full-size templates along with step-by-step, fully-illustrated Stitch Order Documents—showing the color, stitching order, and the part of the design to be stitched—are included for each design to help with perfect placement.

Kathy has also created a lovely quilt using this collection. Instructions for the Baby Chicks & Bows Quilt by Kathy Drew includes directions for in-the-hoop machine shadow embroidery, basic construction of the quilt, and machine-embroidered quilting techniques. The Baby Chicks & Bows Quilt instructions are included as a FREE download in the full collection, or available separately for individual purchase.
